Stocking up!

I am working diligently to stock up my TrashToTreasuresArt Etsy shop. These two art tags are now available in the shop:

"Keep calm and eat cookies."

"C'est la vie."

Today I started on a new batch of tags, which are still in the early stages of production. I also have a number of tags that are almost ready to be added to my stock in TrashToTreasuresArt. These are some of those almost-ready tags:

These tags are extremely fun to create. From start to finish, I'm having a blast with each and every one of them. If you want to visit either of my Etsy shops, just click the links at the top of this blog!

Web store news!

I'm excited to announce that I have opened a second Etsy shop, this one dedicated to my mixed media art! I am of course still maintaining my MissAdventureArt Etsy shop, which contains my drawings, but after some deliberation I ultimately decided that I wanted to manage my mixed media art and my drawings in separate Etsy stores.

My new shop's name is TrashToTreasuresArt. I chose this shop name because my philosophy in creating my mixed media art is to largely use recycled and upcycled goods, such as scrap cardboard and old books that are otherwise not being put to use. I am working on stocking up this new shop as quickly as possible, but these three art tags are already available at TrashToTreasuresArt:

"You make my heart tick."

"You're my cup of tea."

"You're the cat's meow."

To visit either of my Etsy shops, just click on the links at the top of this very blog of mine!

Good night!

This, That, and the Other

I had a great time at the crafts and art show at my local church this weekend. Nevertheless, I am excited about turning my focus back to some of the new pieces I have planned. I have so many ideas that they're all warring in my head over which will be the first ones drawn. I know for certain that I'll very soon be creating some drawings of cute animals celebrating Christmas, so stay tuned for those!

In the meantime, there is a small bit of news for my Etsy shop. And that is, there are now animal stickers available in my Etsy shop!

I plan on making all of the individual animals in my nursery art series available as stickers. As you can see, the ones available as stickers so far are "Percy the Polar Bear", "Pete the Panda", "Ferdinand the Fox", "Calico Clarice", and "Randall the Retriever".

You can buy the stickers in bundles of three or five. Check out of my Etsy shop for these and other goodies!

Percy the Polar Bear and The Fauna and the Fairy Ring on Etsy!

My pieces "Percy the Polar Bear" and "The Fauna and the Fairy Ring" are now available as prints in my Etsy shop!

Both of these are included in my Animal Nursery Art deals on Etsy. These deals include buying one and getting one half off, buying three for the price of two, and buying four for the price of three.

I hope to see you over at my Etsy shop!

Furry Heroes

After a recent discussion with my sister (one of my fellow geeks), I decided to have a little extra fun and create some pen and ink drawings starring little furry animals as superheroes. These will likely be very similar to my animal nursery art pieces, except the animals will be serving as superheroes.

First up in my fun animal superhero series:

Puppy Dog America

I have not yet decided exactly how or what to title this piece, but I am tentatively calling it "Puppy Dog America". As you can see, this puppy was inspired by Marvel Comics' Captain America. And, this furry little hero is already available in my Redbubble and Society6 shops!

I'll admit that although I love reading books, I am not really a fan of reading comics. However, I am indeed quite fond of the concept of superheroes. What's more, I am a huge fan of the new The Avengers movie franchise. That being said, my first couple pieces in this animal superhero series will portray animals as members of the Avengers team.

I hope you enjoy!

Animal Nursery Art on Etsy!

My first round of animal nursery art is now available in my Etsy web store. These include "Pete the Panda", "Calico Clarice", "Ferdinand the Fox", and "Randall the Retriever". Remember them?

These are available in my MissAdventureArt Etsy web store as 5" x 7" prints. I personally sign, title, and number the back of all prints purchased from my Etsy shop. Click on the Etsy tab at the top of this very blog to visit my store!

And be sure to stay tuned, because tomorrow I'll be adding to my Etsy shop deals for making multi-piece purchases of my animal nursery art. I'll announce the deals here, so keep your eyes and ears peeled!

Mission (finally) accomplished.

I apologize for the delay. I intended on finishing the following piece a day or two ago, but sometimes other things in life request that I spend some time away from my drawing board. I'm sure everyone in their own way knows how that feels. But, regardless, I've now finally finished it!

Although I took a different approach than my previous pieces, this newest piece still falls in my animal nursery art series. Here it is:

"The Fauna and the Fairy Ring"

This piece combines two of my favorite things -- animals and the whimsical. I really enjoyed creating it, even if the grass took me more or less an eternity to complete. I really enjoy creating the illusion of texture in my drawings and illustrations. That means things like grass and animal fur can take a long time, though, as I create them slowly but surely, pen stroke by pen stroke. But that also makes it all the more rewarding once I've finished it!

I will be uploading this piece to my Redbubble and Society6 shops this evening. In my Redbubble shop you can purchase my art not only as prints but also on items such as phone cases, throw pillows, and tote bags. (NOTE: Most of my art images cannot be aligned perfectly or wholly onto the surface areas of phone cases, pillows, tote bags, etc. However, I can alter and move the images on these items, so if there is a certain portion of the image that you would like centralized on an item feel free to message me and I'll see what I can do.)

I hope you like it!

Sincerely,
MissAdventureArt

Polar Portrait

Here it is, the latest piece in my animal nursery art series:

"Percy the Polar Bear"

I'll admit that while drawing this piece I did feel at a bit of a loss, as I had far less colorful fur to fill in than usual and I therefore wasn't quite sure what to do with myself. Nevertheless, I really did enjoy creating this piece, and I personally think that the simplicity of it works well.

This piece will soon be available in my Redbubble and Society6 shops, so check it out there!

Sincerely,
MissAdventureArt

Web Store Wonders

As you can see by the tabs at the top of my blog, you can visit my web stores to peruse and purchase some of my works. I have shops on Etsy, Redbubble, and Society6.

Now, for a bit of information regarding my web stores:

• On my Etsy shop you can purchase art prints of my work directly from me. These will most often be smaller prints measuring 5" x 7" or 4" x 6". Since these prints come directly from me I will sign them before personally sending them off to the purchaser. I will also occasionally sell other goodies displaying my artwork on Etsy, and just as with the prints all of these will be personally packaged and shipped by me.

• On Redbubble you can purchase various medium to large prints of my work. Also on Redbubble you can purchase items such as phone cases, throw pillows, and tote bags displaying my artwork. The products on Redbubble are printed and shipped by third parties. Therefore, although I do design and approve of these prints and other products, they will not be personally handled, signed, or shipped by me.

• On Society6 you can purchase various medium to large prints displaying my artwork. As with Redbubble, the prints purchased through Society6 are printed and shipped by third parties.

• My completed artworks will take slightly longer to appear on my Etsy store than on Redbubble or Society6. This is because for the prints in my Etsy shop I send my works to a professional printer and only put them up for sale once I have finished products in hand. It pays to be patient, though, as you'll find that since I personally manage my Etsy shop it is not only a more personal experience but it is also where you'll find my occasional deals and sales! Stay tuned for announcements on such deals!

That all being said, I'll admit that currently my web stores are a bit low on items, but I am working on stocking them up. I have many projects in the works that will be up on my stores soon.

The thus far completed works in my nursery animal art series are already available on Redbubble and Society6, and they will be availabe in my Etsy shop soon. I am currently working on the next piece in this series, and I will share it with you here upon its completion. Very soon after that it will be available on Redbubble and Society6. There are a couple of other works I am also working on, and I will post them here and to Redbubble and Society6 over the next few days. They will also be available on Etsy in the near future.

Also, feel free to visit and like my MissAdventureArt Facebook page using the Facebook tab at the top of this here blog! I will occasionally post news on deals and sales both here and on Facebook, so stay tuned!

Sincerely,
MissAdventureArt
